Uris Safari Lodge caters for 42 guests in 14 air-conditioned en-suite rooms. This historic Etosha National Park accommodation has queen rooms and family units with a loft. Campers and caravanners are accommodated in sites near the main lodge.
There were eight original cottages which accommodated the mineworkers in the early 1900’s, locally referred to as a 'kompong'. These houses have been revamped into bohemian styled brick and thatch chalets with attractive net draped beds. All room names at Uris Safari Lodge refer to current and previous existing mines.
This Etosha National Park accommodation has 7 queen bedrooms, and 7 family bedrooms with 4 three quarter beds - 2 beds are fitted in the loft and accessed by a steep ladder. All beds are of extra length.

Caravan and campsite
There are 4 separate campsites located 5km (3 miles) from the main lodge. Each campsite has 2 elevated platforms for pitching tents, fresh water, barbeque and dishwashing facilities. An ablution with hot water shower and toilet is shared amongst two camping sites. No electricity supplied.
Lapa
Adventurous guests can also stay in the lapa, a thatched building consisting of one elevated room protected with mosquito gauze, wooden deck and separate lower floor with 3 cement fixed beds, small kitchenette, outside shower, toilet and barbeque facility. No electricity supplied.
