Boat trips and cruises on the Kwando River and backwaters are preferable at sunset or sunrise - to game view, bird watch, fish, or just purely to relax. Unusual resident and migrant birds live in this area. The river, surrounding floodplains and savannahs offer special sightings such as Wattled crane, Raquet tailed rollers, Wood Owls, African Crakes.
