Each chalet at this Namibia accommodation has its own shaded wooden balcony with superb views through leafy trees of the gently flowing rapids of the Zambezi. Two massive Baobab trees dominate the main complex giving shade and grandeur.
Brightly coloured birds are used to being fed some crumbs from your tea-time home-baked muffin and hop around your veranda impatiently. Bedrooms are cooled by the breeze coming off the river and by traditional ceiling fans, and the comfortable bed is swathed in a fine mosquito net. The main complex facilities of this Namibia lodge include swimming pool, bar, curio shop, reference library, lounge and dining area all built under the canopy of an ancient baobab.
Each chalet has 2 bedrooms, en-suite bathroom, private deck, overhead fan, mosquito nets, hairdryer. Pilots and guides are accommodated in Commiphora House, which comprises of 2 en-suite twin rooms.
