Apart from harbouring typical Namibian game species such as Giraffe, Eland, Oryx, Blue and Black Wildebeest, Kudu, Ostrich and Springbok, rarer species like Blesbok, Nyala, Waterbuck and Impala are also kept. They frequently visit the waterhole, which lies immediately in front of this Namibia safari lodge near Waterberg Plateau.
Possibilities also exist to, either drive through the park, or to enjoy walking along one of the marked trails. The latter provides for an opportunity to view the animals on foot and this rather more personal contact with the African wildlife adds to an extra special experience. The indigenous trees along the walking trails are also labelled for easy identification and the rich bird life is can be observed. Otjibamba Lodge is located near the Waterberg Plateaum Namibia. It is just 4km (2.4 miles) south of Otjiwarongo, just west off the main road B1.
