The accommodation in Etosha National Park offers something for everyone from family chalets to exclusive honeymoon retreats and a variety of settings. There are 4 different camps offering accommodation in Etosha National Park and each has a unique setting. The re-furbished original camps have floodlit waterholes, while the newest enjoys Salt Pan views.
Accommodation in Etosha National Park is at a premium all year round and visitors are advised to book well in advance. There are 3 gates into Etosha and they are open only between sunrise and sunset. Self-drive itineraries should take into account the vast distances in Etosha and that the speed limit is 60km per hour (37 miles p/h).
Camp Okaukuejo in Etosha:
Camp Okaukuejo is closest to the main Andersson Gate and the largest in Etosha National Park. It is renowned for its big floodlit waterhole where an incredible array of Namibian game can be seen at close quarters, especially Rhino. There is a wide variety of accommodation to choose from and all units have tea stations and fridges.
The premier waterhole chalets are double-storeys with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with showers, while the bush chalets have braai / barbeque facilities. Okaukuejo family chalets have self-catering facilities. The en-suite bathrooms have showers.

Camp Halali in Etosha:
Halali is situated between Okaukuejo and Namutoni in the middle of Etosha. The camp is spacious and set amongst Mopane trees, next to one of the few Dolomite hills in the park. Game can be viewed at the flood-lit waterhole from an elevated terrace.
The Halali units are secluded and attractive with en-suite bathrooms (including showers). There is a delightful honeymoon suite with a lavish lounge area and Jacuzzi. All chalets and rooms have large sliding doors.

Camp Namutoni in Etosha:
This picturesque camp is built around an old white-washed fort which adds a unique character to the camp. Namutoni is located on the eastern side of Etosha National Park and overlooks a flood-lit waterhole. Pedestrian-only walkways, like elevated decks, provide great places to view the sunsets and any game coming to drink. There are a number of other productive waterholes in the vicinity of the camp.
The accommodation at Namutoni is spacious with en-suite bathrooms and showers and guests can choose from bush chalets and double rooms.

Camp Onkoshi in Etosha:
This eco-friendly camp is situated on the eastern rim of the Salt Pan. The camp is tucked away out of sight of driving routes in the park and other developments. The setting is unique and tranquil overlooking the shimmering Salt Pan with its changing appearance over the course of the day. Guests are transported from Namutoni Camp by park vehicles to Onkoshi.
Onkoshi is small and exclusive for just 30 guests (children over the age of 6 are welcome). The thatched suites stand on elevated wooden decks and have canvas walls and retractable doors to fully appreciate the magnificent views. The décor is elegant with natural tones and fabrics complemented by locally crafted furnishings and fittings. The en-site bathrooms have bath tubs and showers and there are also outdoor showers.
